HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator is responsible for payroll processing as well as general support for and participation in other human resource functions, administrative operations, and procedures, for RATIONAL Canada and ideally, RATIONAL Mexico. This includes employee relations, recruitment and selection, performance management, employee orientation, training and development, benefit administration, policy/procedure development, and regulatory compliance. There will also be office administration responsibilities under direction of the Director of Finance and special projects for the President of RATIONAL Canada.


Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • 2 to 3 years HR administration, process, etc. experience.
  • Current working knowledge of payroll law and regulations strongly preferred
  • Must demonstrate ability to lead by example, work as part of a team and individually with minimal direction.
  • Must be able to successfully organize work, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow preferred.
  • Strong English-language written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with executive-level officers, strong Spanish-language written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with a variety of employees on sensitive topics, French-speaking candidates would also be a plus.
