Due to our outstanding success we are seeking several freelance trainers with culinary and/or professional chef experience to train our customers on how best to use their new RATIONAL cooking systems. Training takes place in our customers’ kitchens.  Ideally, freelance trainers have practical knowledge of RATIONAL from personally working with our cooking equipment.

We have positions available across the United States.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Train RATIONAL end-users on our RATIONAL cooking systems.
• Attend initial and regular training seminars in order to preserve and learn updated knowledge of our RATIONAL cooking systems.
• Report to head office as to completed trainings and other end-customer issues.
• Assist Regional Sales Managers, Directors and Corporate Chefs with end-user application.
• Assist with Regional and National Trade Shows.

Qualification and experience requirements include:

• Experience with food service operations/chef experience required!
• Ideally have hands on working knowledge of a RATIONAL cooking system.
• Have a flexible schedule that allows you to schedule and conduct trainings.
• Have good follow up upon dispatching of work opportunity and completion of work.
• Basic computer skills required; capable in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to read and interpret general technical procedures and write reports.
• Written and spoken English is a must.  Multilingual skills would be a plus in applicable markets.
• Self-starter, detail oriented and able to work independently.
• Culinary degree or strong apprenticeship preferred. 
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from end users.
• Must be able to travel with own vehicle or public transportation to customer kitchens.
