Finance and Accounting Manager Italy

  • Act as business partner to the local Sales, Marketing and Order Processing team
  • Preparation of month- and year-end financial statements in cooperation with both the local and the international accounting team in HQ, and with the external accounting provider
  • Preparation of recurrent reporting for the local management team as well as the headquarter to create transparency in relation of the business development (sales, margin and cost developments)
  • Support the F&A Director in the local planning process in order to define appropriate financial goals for the next year
  • Continuous further development of the company processes in regards to efficiency and cost aspects. Sharpening the cost awareness in the company
  • Support auditors, local authorities and external consultants to ensure the compliance of all local laws and regulations, in cooperation with the F&A team
  • Preparation and delivery of Italian declarations, especially tax, environmental compliance and customs declarations
  • Support in the preparation of Transfer Price Documentation according to local requirements
  • Execute an integrated financial claims management, including defining appropriate payment terms with costumers, monitoring the receipt of the payment in time as well as implementation of an effective dunning process in case of default of payments
  • Monitoring and settlement of bonus agreement with dealers and sales agents
  • Preparation of monthly commissions payable for review and approval by F&A Director
  • Reviewing and booking of monthly expense reports



  • A Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Economics or similar
  • A minimum of 5-8 years experience in Finance/Accounting/Controlling. A background in audit could be an interesting experience for us
  • Prior SAP user experience is a plus



  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, in English and Italian
  • Good Financial Accounting skills including detailed and current knowledge of Italian GAAP accounting standards. Prior exposure to IFRS is a plus
  • Good proficiency with IT finance and reporting tools, including strong Excel skills
  • Hands-on mentality and self-starting. Able to work under limited supervision.
