The Regional Technical Manager is an office-based position that requires traveling within a designated area. Primary responsibility of this role is to manage and develop the RATIONAL service network within the assigned area, troubleshoot service, modification, and repair for the client’s equipment. The ability to effectively communicate technical details concerning RATIONAL equipment, accessories, consumables, and spare parts to support customers and our business partners is crucial to the success of this position environment. Travel requirement: 30%



  • Helpdesk customer service advisor – Dealing with customers, analyzing and resolving customer technical issues
  • Helpdesk telephone technical support for external Service Partners, Dealers, Sales Managers and End-users
  • Processing of all service call notifications (Warranty management). Creation of engineer jobs on internal Service Call system, investigation of job authenticity and approval of the service
  • Train Service partners of the designated area
  • Assistance in Workshop activities when required
  • Complete Service Reports, timesheets, expense reports as well as parts reordering forms in a timely manner.  Must also be able to complete additional reports as requested.
  • Monitor equipment conditions and recommend maintenance programs
  • Translation of Technical Documentation (English > Italian)
  • Participation to trainings at the headquarters (Germany/France)


Practical Experiences/skills:

  • High School Diploma with electric/electro-technical specialization
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience troubleshooting industrial electric and/or gas equipment
  • Attention to detail – process driven and investigation will require a methodical approach
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedural manuals
  • Native level of Italian language and good English knowledge

  • 1 year contract, with possibility to turn into permanent position
