The ConnectedCooking Product Manager (CC PM) is responsible for the oversight and management for ConnectedCooking product rollouts with RATIONAL key account customers and providing second-level technical assistance to all customers; acting as the internal champion, subject matter expert, and supporter for the product; and developing appropriate product training.  The goal of the responsibilities is to drive customer usage and sales, and excitement and knowledge amongst internal staff.  This role will be based from our Rolling Meadows, IL USA headquarters office. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage the rollout of ConnectedCooking at key accounts
  • Serve as the internal champion of ConnectedCooking for RATIONAL North America (NAM)
  • Provide expertise on the product, answering “first level help desk” customer questions and escalating next-level question to the dedicated digital support team
  • Assisting customers with basic IT set up and networking support as needed
  • Create work tickets using Jira product management tool for tracking and reporting
  • Develop ConnectedCooking training courses for the NAM market in partnership with the global ConnectedCooking team
  • Support the sales team as needed in customer presentations
  • Contribute to the Product Design & Consultant and marketing team by completing ad hoc data entry, analyzing/meshing various product and dealer platforms, monitoring/updating other product management portals and databases


Qualifications include:

  • At least five years digital product management experience
  • Experience with networking, ERP platforms, and software integration
  • Two years of equipment experience, ideally restaurant equipment; hands-on work with RATIONAL products is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Technical aptitude and interest; IT support skill set is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem analysis and solving skills; detail-oriented and thorough
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with relationship-building capability
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, team-oriented, and results-driven organization; self-starter and able to work independently
  • Be willing to periodically travel domestically and internationally, especially to Germany, Canada, and Mexico
  • Strong computer software skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
