Regional Corporate Chef - East

SUMMARY:
The Regional Corporate Chef executes strategic plans and initiatives relating to product development of RATIONAL's products within their assigned region. Special focus is working with key accounts
menu development. Objectives regarding revenue, profitability, market share and market positioning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide strategic and culinary support to key accounts
• Provide consultation in application questions and issues by phone and in person
• Support an efficient and a comprehensive as well as long-term freelancer network
• Schedule and train Region Sales Managers and Freelancers on applications and products
• Set goals and objectives consistent with organization plans
• Assist with Regional and National Trade Shows.
• Determine new products, practices, and procedures to improve application development
• Support of Marketing initiatives including videos and live broadcasts, in-person target market events
• Perform Audits in Market of our Regional Sales Managers
• Familiar beforehand with RATIONAL product line

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Proven long-time experience as a chef
• Chef with sales and business experience will be considered an asset
• Experience in dealing and understanding partners/customers' needs
• Outstanding presentation capabilities with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office package.
• Should be willing to travel (forecast around 30%) / valid driver's license

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Ability to speak other languages is a plus
• Ability to read, write/analyze reports, and interpret general technical procedures
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from end-users

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

REASONING ABILITY:
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand up to 8 hours while on training/demonstration in a kitchen.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required, include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Travel required, typically including continuous overnight stays
• International travel required
• Various environments (training centers, kitchen, culinary centers, etc.)

SUBSTANCE ADDICTION:
• It is required from the employee to follow all corporate guidelines, using common-sense while interacting with peers, leadership team and customers
• Must also make sure not to be under the influence of any substances while on duty. In case of substance addiction, employee is expected to communicate the company for the suitable accommodations to be made under what is required by law.
