Service Technician - GCC (not UAE or Saudi Arabia) & Africa


We are looking for a skilled Service Technician based in Dubai to support our markets across the GCC (excluding UAE and KSA) and Africa. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work closely with the regional Service team to provide expert technical support and ensure high product and service quality.

Your responsibilities include answering technical inquiries, delivering effective technical training, and helping strengthen service standards across all assigned markets.

Tasks

  • Handling and managing Customer satisfactory survey
  • Handling and supporting Dead on Arrival cases
  • Train technical staff of our Service partners
  • Consultation in technical questions and help desk support
  • Administration and follow up of warranty notifications, including warranty decisions
  • Handling of installation services
  • Quality issues handling and management reporting
  • Service Partners assessment and developing
  • Tandem visit (field services with Partner) to train and give feedback to the RSP in order to improve services process  
  • Improvement of product and service quality in the long term
  • Support at exhibitions and trade fairs
  • Contribution for the events of RSP of year, RSP meeting, RSP satisfaction
  • Service Call dispatch & process
  • Managing Service management tools (ServiceCall, JIRA, SalesForce, services KPI, Customer satisfaction)
  • Working with CRM and ERP applications

 

Qualification

  • Electrician, Electronic, Mechatronic or similar (e.g. engineer)
  • Experience in the field of technical service and in dealing with dealer/distributor/service partner networks
  • Didactics and training methods
  • Understands technical questions and issues and can explain complex technical information in an easily understandable way
  • Has diplomatic skills, is patient and has always an open ear for the customer's complaints and questions
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, open minded and customer-oriented
  • Accountable and self-managed
  • Decision maker within the company philosophies
  • Self-confidence and persuasiveness
  • Good IT-abilities (MS Office; SAP preferred)
  • Willingness to travel / valid driver's licence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably Arabic
