People Specialist
Luton / Milton Keynes, UK from January 2027 onwards
At RATIONAL, people are at the centre of everything we do. As a People Specialist, you ensure a seamless and high-quality employee experience combining operational excellence with a continuous drive to improve how we work.
You will be part of a wider EMEA People team, working closely with colleagues across countries while acting as a trusted partner to the local business.
Your scope of responsibility
You keep our People operations running smoothly while making them better every day:
- You support the full employee lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding
- You ensure accurate HR administration, contracts and data quality and time management
- You take ownership of payroll coordination (including P11D reporting) and travel expense processes (Concur)
- You support salary reviews, benefits administration and employee queries
- You ensure compliance with HR processes, guidelines and statutory requirements
- You contribute to HR projects and drive continuous process improvements
- You support training coordination development initiatives and succession planning
Your professional profile
You combine HR expertise with a hands-on, structured and solution-oriented approach:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a CIPD qualification
- Proven experience in Payroll and pension administration
- Very good Office 365 skills; good understanding of HR Systems such as SAP, Concur, SuccessFactors (or similar)
- Strong skills in operational HR execution along the employee life cycle
- Analytical, structured way of working as well and solution-oriented thinking
- High level of social competence and communication skills as well as a strong service orientation
- Confidence in working with HR data, KPIs and reporting
- Basic project management skills with the ability to deliver reliably
- Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and discretion with sensitive information
- Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with a pragmatic approach in an international environment
