International Customer Service Assistant 1 (m/f/d)

RATIONAL International AG, based in Heerbrugg, is strengthening its team and is looking for a committed, service‑oriented individual to join us as an International Customer Service Assistant.

In this role, you will support our international sales organization in ensuring efficient market operations. You will act as the first point of contact for internal and external customers, distribution partners, and regional sales managers - contributing significantly to a professional and seamless customer experience.

Your Responsibilities – diverse, international, and impactful
As part of our Customer Service & Sales Support team, you will take on a broad range of tasks and ensure smooth operations across all sales processes:

• Order processing in SAP – from entry to delivery
• Maintenance and updating of master data, as well as preparation of documentation and export papers
• Monitoring delivery dates in close coordination with Logistics, Production, and Sales
• Credit management in collaboration with the Finance team
• Operational support for Sales Directors and Regional Sales Managers in international market activities
• Interface management with internal departments and support for global distribution partners

Your Profile 

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in international sales support / customer service
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
• High service orientation and enjoyment of daily customer interaction
• Excellent command of English and German; additional languages are an advantage
• Confident user of MS Office
• Solid SAP user skills; Salesforce experience is a plus
• Independent and structured working style, quick comprehension, and strong team spirit
