Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator – Digital Media is the visual and channel execution lead within the RATIONAL USA marketing and communications team. This role owns social media channel management and execution, live event audio and video operations, onsite photo and video capture, graphic design, and general visual content production. to produce and deploy brand-consistent visual content that reflects real operator outcomes and positions RATIONAL as the standard for professional kitchen intelligence. This role is ideal for a visual communicator who wants to grow within a category-defining brand and build a professional portfolio across owned, earned, and event channels. The coordinator works closely with the Senior Communications Specialist to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels and reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Channel Management
- Own day-to-day social media execution across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms for RATIONAL USA.
- Develop and maintain a monthly social content calendar aligned to product launches, trade events, customer stories, and other events or activations
- Develop and support paid social media campaigns to drive lead generation and awareness across social media platforms and search engine advertising
- Monitor channel performance, compile engagement reporting monthly, and surface optimization opportunities
Live Event Audio and Video Operations
- Serve as the primary onsite A/V operator at RATIONAL USA trade shows, regional events, and customer demonstrations
- Capture and edit short-form video content for social deployment before, during, and after events, including NRA Show, regional rep and dealer events, and Culinary team activations
- Coordinate equipment logistics and pre-event shot lists
Onsite Photo and Video
- Manage a library of original RATIONAL USA photography and video assets organized for rapid retrieval and deployment
- Develop and maintain a versioned asset archive compliant with brand usage standards
Graphic Design and Visual Content
- Design social graphics, event collateral, and campaign assets using the full RATIONAL brand system
- Maintain internal library of graphic assets, such as process territory maps
- Adapt global RATIONAL creative assets for U.S. market use, ensuring compliance with U.S. brand and messaging standards
- Support the Content Marketing Coordinator with visual elements for email and blog content as needed
Qualifications:
Required
- 2 years minimum of social media management, visual content production, or B2B marketing experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, or equivalent design tools
- Demonstrated experience capturing and editing photo and video content for professional brand use
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, high-visibility event environments with time-sensitive deliverables
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing digital asset libraries and content calendars
Preferred
- Experience in B2B foodservice, hospitality, or commercial equipment marketing
- Working knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut
- Familiarity with social scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or Later
- Exposure to AI-assisted creative workflows and willingness to adopt emerging tools
- Experience supporting live event production at trade shows or industry events
