Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator – Editorial Content is a foundational execution role within the RATIONAL USA marketing and communications team. This role owns the written content pipeline: email newsletters, blog, advertorials, editorial campaign coordination, and general written content across channels. This role translates approved brand strategy into polished, publication-ready content. This is an ideal role for a writer who wants to develop deep expertise in B2B marketing within a globally recognized brand that leads its category. The works closely with the Senior Communications Specialist to ensure messaging consistency across our Marketing channels and reports to the Vice President of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Newsletters
- Own the full lifecycle of RATIONAL USA email newsletters from brief to send, including copywriting, list management, and performance reporting
- Develop content calendars aligned to product launches, trade events, and seasonal operator priorities
- Ensure all email content reflects approved brand voice, messaging hierarchy, and compliance standards
Blog and Long-Form Content
- Write and publish blog content that connects RATIONAL intelligent cooking equipment to measurable operator outcomes
- Develop evergreen content supporting SEO/AIO strategy: operator education, product integration guides, and category-level thought leadership
- Coordinate with the Senior Communications Specialist on editorial direction and topic prioritization
Advertorials and Publisher Partnerships
- Edit advertorial copy for trade media placements coordinated through the communications team
- Support editorial campaign coordination with partner publications including submission management and asset delivery
- Track campaign deliverables and deadlines across concurrent publisher relationships
Editorial Campaign Support
- Coordinate cross-functional content requests across Marketing, Culinary, Product Management, and Sales teams
- Maintain a content asset library of approved product descriptions, boilerplate, and proof points for rapid deployment
- Assist in preparing internal editorial briefings and channel-specific content rollout documentation
Qualifications:
Required
- 2 years minimum content writing, editorial coordination, or B2B marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability to write in a controlled brand voice across multiple formats
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Constant Contact
- Strong project management instincts with comfort managing multiple concurrent deadlines
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, basic SEO/AIO principles, and editorial scheduling tools
Preferred
- Experience in B2B foodservice, hospitality, or commercial equipment marketing
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for light content layout tasks
- Exposure to AI-assisted content workflows and willingness to adopt new tools
- Experience working within brand guidelines and submitting work for editorial review
- Bilingual in English, Spanish
