Our beginnings in Landsberg am Lech

RATIONAL started in 1973 in Landsberg am Lech with about 25 employees, producing and selling hot-air appliances.
Since then we have been growing steadily, but we remain true to our roots because Landsberg is still our headquarters. The city is much more than just a distant suburb of Munich. Landsberg is one of the sunniest cities in Germany and perhaps that is a reason why, according to one survey, the happiest people in the country live here. Landsberg combines so many things perfectly: it is a city of culture, center of business, close to nature, and home!

With more than 4,000 sales partners and 1,200 service partners worldwide, RATIONAL is close to the customer. Our 32 subsidiaries, from Japan to Brazil, from France to India, also make a significant contribution to this.
