RATIONAL has been awarded the Integration Prize of the Government of Oberbayern. Our commitment is a matter of course for us, - yet we are of course pleased that our commitment has been seen and appreciated.
Our integration officer Manuel from the management of industrial apprenticeship, together with the team for training, was able to accept the integration award for successful and sustainable integration work.
By doing so, the jury honored our commitment to refugees. Since 2015, RATIONAL has been supporting people with a migration background in parallel to their training with internships and familiarization measures, introductory training, and additional training such as German courses.
Our integration officer not only takes care of the job-related side of things, but also helps people find housing, deal with official matters, and sometimes even with financial resources. The initiative has been so successful that 15 trainees have been taken on and are now doing great work for our company and are an integral part of the team. In the future, refugees - including some from Ukraine – will start their training at RATIONAL. In times of a shortage of skilled workers, we think this is a win-win situation.
