Key Account Regional Technical Manager
The Regional Technical Manager (RTM) manages activities and processes in assigned territories in a manner consistent with RATIONAL philosophy, goals, and objectives. The RTM’s primary responsibility is to develop, support, and manage RATIONAL service partners in their assigned territory. The RTM must be able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, technical details concerning RATIONAL equipment, accessories, consumables, and spare parts to support customers, internal staff, and our business partners. They will carry out technical support issues in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. The RTM trains the service partners and their sub-agents as well as customer sponsored individuals. The RTM prepares monthly territory reports, monthly itinerary, and weekly expense reports in a timely manner. The RTM is the key link for all service needs from the sales organization to their assigned territory. The RTM is the service ambassador representing RATIONAL USA in a professional manner at all times.
Essential responsibilities of the Regional Technical Manager are:
- Territory management, including developing service partners, reviewing inventory levels, holding partners accountable to agreed-upon metrics, and addressing complaints
- Hotline support
- Training, including service provider updates and warranty processes
- Warranty and invoice review
- Sales support
Qualifications include:
- Associate's degree in electronics or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to proactivly prioritize and multi-task
- Strong sense of urgency and self-discipline
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Availability for overnight travel up to 50%
