The Regional Technical Service Manager’s (RTSM) primary responsibility is delivering comprehensive technical training sessions to service partner technicians on a monthly basis, managing escalated technical issues, and providing ongoing support to the technical team. In addition, this role will involve direct field support for troubleshooting problem units that require multiple service visits. The RTSM is the technical service ambassador representing RATIONAL USA in a professional manner at all times.
Daily tasks support the essential duty of territory technical support. The RTSM will conduct monthly technical training session at various sites through the region on equipment, warranties, and ensuring that the company’s owned inventory is operational and is available. They will serve as the primary point of contact for all escalated technical issues in the region, ensuring timely and effective resolutions, Conduct field visits with RSP (Regional Service Provider) technicians for unresolved unit problems, collaborate with Regional Service Operations Manager to assess technical knowledge of RSPs, and support sales process stakeholders including end users, equipment dealers, manufacturers representatives, regional sales managers and directors.
Qualifications include an Associate/Bachelor's degree in Electronics from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, experience in technical support or training roles, experience with commercial foodservice equipment or HVAC, abiility and desire to attend training classes as needed. The RTSM role requires frequent ground and/or air travel, including local and distance destinations and possible continuous overnight stays.
