Regional Corporate Chef

SUMMARY

The Corporate Chef (CC) executes strategic plans and initiatives relating to product development of RATIONAL’s products within their assigned region and/or product specialty.  The CC will partner with RSM’s, REPS  and RCC’s to develop their knowledge and skills when applying our technology in the market, including supporting key accounts with menu development and process implementation. Objectives regarding revenue, profitability, market share and market positioning are also part of this role.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic and culinary guidance to implement After Sales concept
  • Provide consultation in application questions and issues by phone, in person, and on virtual platforms 
  • Execution of and participation at exhibitions, trade fairs, product trainings, RATIONAL Cooking Live qualifications
  • Support an efficient and a comprehensive as well as long-term freelancer network
  • Schedule and train Regional Sales Managers, Rep partners, dealers/distributors and RCCs on applications and products
  • Set goals and objectives consistent with organization plans
  • Plan, lead and execute local and Regional and assist with National Trade Show requirements
  • Provide strategic and culinary guidance to support key accounts 
  • Determine new products, practices, and procedures to improve application development
  • Supports Regional Sales Directors and Managers regarding new application development and product ideas
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven long-time experience as a chef in a well-established foodservice environment
  • Expert with RATIONAL equipment
  • Chef with Business Administration background preferred 
  • Experience in dealing and understanding partners/customers’ needs
  • Outstanding presentation capabilities with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and good Internet skills
  • Should be eager to travel and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation is a must
  • Capacity for 50% overnight, away-from-home travel
