Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the strategic vision, implementation, and sales execution within the territory resulting in the planned territory sales growth, aligned with RATIONAL organizational goals. This position will work within a regional team setting and will be responsible for providing leadership with our local RATIONAL representatives while building contacts, cultivating relationships, and growing RATIONAL brand awareness throughout the territory.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES include the following:

  • Promote and educate the market on iCombi and iVario technology through cold-calling, prospecting, RATIONAL live culinary events, tradeshow participation, dealer trainings, and direct end-user engagement.
  • Increase customer base through customer development within all food service market segments and applicable commercial market segments.
  • Manage and grow territory volume by pursuing both identified opportunities and creating new opportunities.
  • Increase customer base via developing the Consultant/Designer network for specification.
  • Time management – preplan your daily/weekly/monthly plan. Work your plan and follow up.
  • Document customer-related information and activity within our Customer Relationship Management system, Salesforce.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports/forecasts and provide customer analysis.
  • Prepare annual sales budget.
  • Develop, implement, and review with Sales Directors, business strategies documented in business and marketing plans needed to secure and sustain growth targets.
  • Participation in Regional/National Trade shows and sales meetings.
  • Monitor and report issues affecting sales, competitive pressures in the market, and competitor activity.
