Talent Acquisition Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping our workforce by identifying, attracting, and retaining top talent. You will collaborate with hiring managers, analyze recruitment processes, and build strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.  This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role working in partnership with a small People team where collaboration is valued and self-motivation is required for success.  The Talent Acquisition Manager will also participate in other People Team strategic initiatives such as diversity & inclusion, international trainee programs, and website enhancements.


Responsibilities

  1. End-to-End Recruitment
    • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
    • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse candidates.
    • Coordinate interviews and interview schedules, conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make hiring recommendations.
  2. Recruitment Process Analysis
    • Evaluate existing recruitment processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Become the US subject matter expert for our internal recruiting software.
    • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Monitor key metrics and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
    • Maintain accurate job descriptions.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.
    • Build strong relationships with internal teams in all processes and external partners such as recruiters, staffing agencies, colleges, and industry contacts.
    • Build strong relationships with corporate headquarters’ Recruiting and HRIS specialists.
    • Collaborate on workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
  4. Recruitment Training
    • Audit and train hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques, processes, and legal compliance.
    • Provide guidance on job descriptions, salary negotiations, and offer letters.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
    • Maintain up-to-date recruiting legal knowledge.
  5. Candidate Experience
    • Ensure a positive and respectful experience for all candidates.
    • Communicate transparently throughout the recruitment process.
    • Gather feedback and implement improvements based on candidate insights.
    • Coordinate with other stakeholders to provide an excellent onboarding experience.
  6. Metrics and Reporting
    • Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, etc.).
    • Generate regular reports for leadership and identify trends.
    • Use data to drive informed decision-making, including inputs into compensation strategies.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience across various levels (entry-level to executive) in professional and administrative organizations.
  • Sales or equipment manufacturing industry recruiting experience would be a plus.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools; experience with SuccessFactors by SAP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (especially written, but also verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certification in recruitment or talent acquisition (preferred).
