The People Partner (PP) is the main point of contact for all People related matters for the local subsidiary's leaders and employees as well as to external partners. The PP reports directly to the Managing Director and works in close contact with both the Asia South & Pacific PP based in Singapore and the Central PP who is based in the headquarters in Germany.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding the organization's business strategies in order to provide insights and solutions to business challenges in line with corporate governance/compliance
- Building up relationships within the company and being the "proactive" link between employees and management
- Mediation between the interests of the company, the employees and managers and finding solutions to the satisfaction of all
- Ensuring and managing the recruitment process as a whole at a high level of quality and providing support to managers
- Setting-up of standardized HR processes and monitoring of all ongoing administrative tasks, from the employee's entry to the exit; this includes but is not limited to cooperation with external payroll partners.
- Ensuring up-to-date employment contract templates, guidelines, and employee handbook in line with local regulations
- Co-developing of new processes (together with Central PP) and implementing them according to local requirements
- Networking with PPs from other subsidiaries for best practice cases and idea collection for new processes
- Drive employee engagement and managing change, ensuring motivation and retention of talent together with management is a core priority
- Supervising and consulting in regard of RATIONAL's Year of Leadership (employee, appraisal, salary review, people development rounds) as well as supporting the employees and leaders in questions of using SuccessFactors (First-level-support)
- Implementing and developing of training measures and coordinating as well as ensuring the employee development activities, controlling the training budget, supporting the management in using the internal skill matrix
- Conducting various trainings on all hierarchy levels (conflict management, culture, philosophy, onboarding, etc.) in line with RATIONAL values
- Supporting our global Employee's satisfaction survey and resulting workshops and activities on local level
- Ad-hoc projects assigned
Profile:
- Successfully completed studies with a focus on human resources management or several years of professional and management experience in a comparable position
- At least 8 years of relevant HR Partnering/Generalist experience in a fast-growing sales-oriented company
- Experience in an international environment and working in a matrix organization, ideally with a European (German) based HQ
- Sound knowledge of local labor, social security and tax law as well as managing payroll
- High customer and service-oriented approach (towards all employees, management as well as external parties) and good communication skills on all levels
- Empathy and thoughtfulness towards people and proactivity in workforce strategy. Ability to manage and meet employee expectations while maintaining the business focus
- Analytical, structured way of working as well as strategic and solution-oriented thinking
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, team player within and across different functions, e.g. Finance & Administration
- Thoughtful discretion and sensitivity around confidential and sensitive information
- Role model function in the representation of corporate culture
- Willingness to constructively challenge and initiate improvements, in an inspiring, demanding and high performing work environment
- Hands on approach, result-orientated, flexible and optimistic mindset
- Very good MS Office skills; SAP SuccessFactors an advantage
- Good written and spoken English
