RATIONAL is looking for an Service Contracts Administrator, to prepare, review, administer, track and manage service contract proposals and renewals administer and manage existing service agreements with our customers
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Execute the delivery of high-quality service contracts administration, management and follow-up, consistent with global standards, local and legal requirements
• Amend, keep updated and manage all master data, ensuring that all records are accurate and up to date
• Facilitate contract life-cycle management from planning to execution and performance, reviewing and update existing contracts
• Write contract letters, other communications and notices, ensuring that all communications between the company, our Service Partners and end-user customers are consistent with terms and conditions of the agreements
• Prepare the Service Contracts with our end-user customers and Service Partners, recording all information fully
• Receive and manage incoming service requests and dispatch technical engineers
• Prepare and send invoices to end-user customers for out-of-contract breakdowns, ensuring that these are processed in accordance with internal procedures
• Maintaining compliance with the Service Contracts, ensuring that all deadlines and conditions described in contracts are met (including preventative maintenance works and payments)
• Ensure communication of changes to contracts to all key stakeholders
• Ensure that all stakeholders understand and comply with the specific contract terms
• Support the National Service Director with discussions, variations and negotiations of contract terms with external customers, and Service Partners ensuring that projects remain within the established budget
• Support in negotiations of claims, variations, changes and disputes with Service Partners, as required
• Ensure Service Partner’s contract administration, processes and procedures meet the contract requirements
• Assist the Service Sales Director to develop contract proposals to support organizational goals
• Support to develop and administer procurement plans for new service contracts with end-user customers
• Develop and execute administrative processes that advance the company’s service goals and objectives
• Create regular status reports regarding the progress of the service contracts provision, including matters such as cost, performance, progress assessment, payments, reporting, trends and change orders.

Experience and Skills:
• Proven previous administration experience
• Strong Microsoft word, Excel, Powerpoint and Excel skills.
• SAP experience would be considered an advantage
• Technically competent with previous hands-on fault diagnosis and repair experience of mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Holding some form of electrical and/or mechanical engineering qualification or certification would be advantageous.
• Have some form of technical support/help desk experience.

• Should exhibit strong organizational and time management abilities
• Will need to be commercially aware to ensure that the contracts are on or below budget, with a desire to ensure the success of the new service contracts provision
• Attention to detail – with the ability to spot inconsistencies
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and process improvement skills
• Team player who will be able to work alone or as part of a successful technical support team always looking to assist colleagues wherever possible.
