As Director Finance and Administration, you will manage our production site RATIONAL Wittenheim SAS with approx. 200 employees, which is responsible for our iVario product segment, together with the Technical Management and the Product Management. As an entrepreneurial commercial all-rounder, you will be actively involved in the continuous improvement of our products and processes and ensure that technical and commercial objectives match. You can expect an exciting task with a high degree of responsibility at a state-of-the-art production site, which is still partly under construction and offers you room for manoeuvre.
Your area of responsibility
- Commercial responsibility for RATIONAL Wittenheim SAS and disciplinary leadership of the local Controlling, Value & Cost Engineering, IT, Human Resources and Central Services departments
- Development and implementation of strategy, planning and recipient-orientated reporting
- Managing complex projects in connection with site investments and structural expansions
- Development of cost targets and cost optimisation in all areas of the value chain and company organization
- Responsibility for preparing the company's monthly and annual financial statements in collaboration with accounting in the central shared service centre
- Contact person for auditors, local authorities and external consultants to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Your profile
- Several years of relevant professional experience in a production and product development company
- Confident handling of modern financial tools and ERP systems, ideally in SAP S/4 HANA and MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point
- Experience in auditing or additional qualification in accounting or local taxes helpful
- HR knowledge and affinity for IT topics
- Very good knowledge of English, French and German
- Experience of working with a German head office helpful
