Donation campaign for children in Ukraine.
Even after many weeks, the situation in Ukraine is still concerning. For RATIONAL, this is not a scenario that takes place far away from our headquarters in beautiful Landsberg am Lech. RATIONAL Ukraine, with its headquarters in Kiev, is in the middle of it all - and so are our colleagues and their families and friends. As an employer, we maintain intensive contact and support our local workforce as best we can. During a large-scale donation campaign by our employees at the Landsberg and Wittenheim sites, almost three tons of relief supplies were collected in the form of clothing, hygiene articles, toys and medicines. These were taken to Poland and Ukraine, received on site by RATIONAL employees and distributed to Ukrainian children with the help of our dealer and partner network.
Peter Stadelmann, Chairman of the Executive Board at RATIONAL, was delighted with this campaign: "This is exactly what makes the RATIONAL-family so unique. My special thanks go to the project team who managed this campaign so successfully alongside their daily work, and to everyone who took part in the fundraiser."
Even if the occasion is no cause for celebration, this demonstrates an important value of the RATIONAL culture: people help one another and are there for each other.
