Specialist Information Security and Data Protection (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• In your role, you will be jointly responsible for information security and data protection for the entire RATIONAL Group
• You will support our team in detecting and defending against cybercrime
• This includes reviewing IT security measures, IT security processes and existing security technology for vulnerabilities and recommending suitable improvement measures, as well as operating our information security management system (ISMS)
• You will work on security awareness planning and implement employee training worldwide
• You will support our data protection officer and our employees on the topic of data protection
• In your position, you will report directly to the CISO

Qualifications

• You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable education/qualification
• You have extensive practical experience in information security
• You know the areas of ISMS, ISO 27001 and BSI basic protection like the back of your hand
• CISSP certification is an advantage, as is knowledge of ISMS
• Ideally, you have initial experience in data protection and its implementation in a corporate group
• Strong communication skills with the Management Board and specialist managers
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Professional handling of MS Office
