Service Technician - Luton, UK

Main responsibilities

  • Providing technical support via phone, for Rational cooking systems, to external Rational Service Partners, Dealers, third party engineers and end-user customers, analysing and resolving technical issues and complaints.
  • Receive and manage incoming service requests, dispatching technical egineers, prioritizing as necessary to meet the needs and requirements of different clients. 
  • Process technical engineers’ callouts, via Salesforce, reviewing documentation to investigate job authenticity, ensuring all requirements are met to process payment for completed work.
  • Management of all customer data, ensuring that all records are accurate and consistently updated. 
  • Answering queries related to technical faults, spare parts, and requests for information and documentation via a shared mailbox.
  • Supporting the Regional Technical Managers with a variety of projects (e.g. recalls, faults and retro-fits).
  • Assisting the Regional Technical Managers in the Workshop and customer site visits.
  • Working closely with the Customer Service team in arranging installations for new Cooking Systems for external dealers and end-user customers
  • Maintaining a small amount of stock held at the office, ensuring the correct processes are followed and the stock system is accurate to that of physical stock held.
